WOLF, Peszi(Paulina) {I389} (b. 22 JUL 1924, d. ABT 1975)

Note: Caught by the Nazis while visiting her uncle's home, Yosef SALAMON (#32), and taken with the rest of the SALAMON family to Auschwitz. Stood in line at Auschwitz after coming down from the train and was holding Marika SCHWARTZ (#472). The entire group came to Mengele who asked her if she was the child's mother, saying no, she was asked to hand the child over to her mother, Elizabeth SALAMON (#19). All but her were sent to the gas chambers by Mengele. Peszi was the las person to see alive the SALAMON family. After the war was over, she married the widower of her sister Perl WOLF (#386), Moshe Berkowitz (#393) who also happened to be the brother of her sister Montzy WOLF's (#387) husband, Itzhak Berkowitz (#397).
